MA Plumber Prep Privacy Policy

Information kept on your device

MA Plumber Prep does not require an account or sign-in. The app saves a record of which practice questions you answered, whether each answer was correct, when it was recorded, your Saved questions, and your practice position in local storage on your device. This study progress is not automatically uploaded to us. The app offers reset controls for practice progress and Saved questions.

Practice exam answers and results are held for the current exam session and are discarded when you leave it. The bundled code library and its search work offline.

Information you choose to send

When you tap Report Question, the app opens your email app with a draft. The draft includes the question ID, topic, text and answer choices, the marked correct answer and code reference, the reason you selected, any comment you enter, the app version, and the platform. The app does not send that email itself. If you choose to send it, we receive the information in the email, including your sender address and any other information your email app includes. You can also email us directly for support.

The app does not automatically send your saved study progress, practice exam results, or code-library searches to us.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The app does not include an in-app analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDK. It does not show ads, access an advertising identifier, or track your activity across other companies’ apps or websites.

Third-party services and external links

The app includes offline study material. If you tap an online code reference, it opens an external site in your browser, such as a Massachusetts government page or an NFPA page. Your browser and that site may process information associated with the visit under their own privacy practices. If you send a question report, your chosen email app and email provider handle its delivery.

Apple may handle App Store distribution and device-level diagnostics under its own policies. This Privacy Policy page is hosted on GitHub Pages, which receives a web request when you visit it.

Children’s privacy

MA Plumber Prep is an exam study and reference app and is not directed to children. No account or personal details are required to study. If you believe a child has sent us a support email, contact us at the address below about that message.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app’s features or privacy practices change. The revised policy will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
